India enjoys a varied climate through its huge landmass, though generally things tend to be warm. The cooler regions are located in the north, around the mountains, and the south enjoys a far more tropical climate – though it tends to be a more comfortable heat than that of the inland. Generally speaking, March to May is when temperatures get uncomfortably hot, June to September sees the majority of monsoons through the country and December to February sees the coolest of temperatures. Regional variations obviously apply, but these timings apply in general. For current forecasts: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/INXX0096.html
